Where is my free virtual assistant that best of technology can provide me even today? It CAN atleast take notes and edit text only with voice commands.

If I understand the possibilities behind assistant’s like @google assistant, Siri by @apple right, they should be able to able to take my commands and make my phone hands free. I as a geek, am fed up of typing and navigating screens on touch screens and mouse in laptop.

I use a lot of Speech to text services personally these days so that I don’t have to type and I can keep on thinking out loud while taking notes and not caring about the spelling, formatting, keyboard, or anything around me. For example: https://speechnotes.co, https://www.speechtexter.com

Even those speech to text services are horrible as almost working jugaad of something quite intuitive that can be invented with the voice to text as an interface.

I am thinking of following possibilities:

1. Editing the text using voice commands. Keyboards have not evolved since long on modern devices and voice is a great interface available for the next generation.

2. Navigating screens and interfaces.

3. Taking actions on any software/app.

All that ONLY with voice inputs.

On similar lines, I wonder why google assistant doesn’t even have an app or software for Desktop systems. Although, They have democratized the same by providing API to makers community. That’s probably a taste of web3.

May be, that’s why voiceflow.com exists which is even used by google as per their list of clients. But I wonder what is that google uses it as a tool to build.

May be that’s why gpt3 exits and somebody somewhere is trying to build that already.

May be this is the right time to ask this question. Because google assistant in my phone is still pretty dumb.
